I created these fabric pages because of a challenge, Scrappin Happy XO is hosting a book page challenge on YouTube. We where to create a page and send it in which then would be combine with other pages to create a fabric book. This was my very first time creating anything like this, I had fun doing it that I created three pages; but I only sent one in.
I welcome your comments, thanks for stopping by.

Projects/Cards
Here are a couple of cards I C.A.S.E. in January from Scrapdaworld on Youtube, she put out a challenge for us to C.A.S.E. one of the cards she had C.A.S.E. I did not have the products she did, so I used what I had. I have to say I surprised myself and I am please with the results, both of these cards I will be using.
Learning
I set this blog up a year ago because I wanted to enter a challenge, that was it. But now as I have looked as works of other crafters I found that I was quite intimidated. I have learned that there are many different types of crafter out here and it has been great seeing and learning from all of them. I don't have many crafty people around me, and most people don't understand my love for crafting. When I discovered You Tube and this crafting community it opened up a whole new connection of people who love to do things I love to do.
I have always been creative but never had an outlet for it. Anyway 2005 mark a way for me to use some of my creativity, scrapbooking. I enjoy scrapbooking because it gives us a creative way to tell a story, our story in different ways. Because I did not have anyone to work with my skill, my craft did not develop much, I stopped scrapbooking for a long time and when I return to it in 2011 Wow! it was not like I had remembered. My daughter was graduating and I really wanted to do a book for her and tell, my story of her. There where so many products and things I was overwhelmed. Her scrapbook ended up being two books. But what I discovered during this time is how much I missed scrapbooking and just being creativity. I found the crafting community of You Tube in mid 2012, and I was just floored because people where doing some amazing things with everything. I did not join right away because I did not know were I fit. So after a year I feel like I know my style a little better, I would say that I really like mix media, steampunk, and vintage. So with that bit of information what I want to do this year is to challenge myself more with layouts, I have tried my had a cards and found that I do like it and maybe some other things but the idea is to challenge myself; so with that I will post some of the projects/items I make.

Swap 2
My next swap for July was a cardholder and card swap. This swap was hosted by Yolibean -youtube name (Yolanda), and what she challenged us to do was to create simple bright summer cards and create a holder for them made from a manila file folder. Since I am not a card maker and I am trying to try some new things I thought I could do this. Well to my surprise this was a challenge for. First as I stated I am not a card maker, secondly I don't lean toward bright colors, so I had to work at this a little to come up with some cards. So below you will see the cards I created and the holder for the cards.

Swaps
I have discovered myscraproom.ning.com and I just wanted to share some of the projects I have worked on for swaps
My first swap was in July and it was a "Dollar Stamp Swap" we were a group of 5 and here are the stamps I received. The ladies did a great job with the packaging of the stamps and I have been playing around with them.

Something to Share
I am so excited about my new purchase – I have wanted to buy
a Cuttlebug and now I have one. This one is designed by Anna Griffin…and it is
beautiful.
BA Craftygirl Valentine Challenge
This is my 1st entry for BA Crafty Girl Challenge

Card: this card inspiration came from faith Abigail design (criss
cross card) it’s 2 parts because it has it’s own envelope.
2nd entry for BA
Crafty girl challenge a tag this tag is only 3 ½ x 4’’. I did a college of the
same tissue paper stamp it with a key stamp and a small heart stamp. The flower
in the lower corner is one I made with a little black bling in the center.

The band is a punch
by EK success the flower is one I made out of punches and added pearls in the
center, plus it has a small stick pin that I made.
Inside the envelope there is a stamp swirl. The card has black and silver sticker swirl with a black ribbon and two hearts; the Happy Valentine’s Day is a stamp.

The inside of the card
you see the ribbon extends so you could insert a small picture or a personal
sentiment, or even a gift card. The other side is my second stamp at the top
and bottom of the sentiment.
This is the first time I have ever made a card I hope you
like it.
